New walnut floors in the kitchen, pantry and powder room.



Another view of the walnut floors. We looked everywhere for our wood floors and landed on Carpet King. I would highly recommend them. We had used them at our previous home and they did a great job. I am again very happy with their work and we are also using them for our wool carpet.



Still really loving this grey porcelain tile that we installed in our bathrooms and now is the base for our living room!

Open Sesame!

After 11 months of a fussy garage door opener we now have a functional garage door opener and a glass garage door. I have to say that it is quite amazing how much light this door lets into the space. I think the pictures say it all!

Hollow Concrete

Now that things are getting a bit more under control on the inside and the finishing details are happening we decided it was time to start demo on the outside before the snow flies. So today Bryce started demo on the back concrete stairs. Here you can see that the stairs going up the back of the house are hollow. I hope we find a buried treasure in this hollow space! We finished taking out the old concrete and no buried treasure, but we are thankful to Neil, Chuey & Memo for helping Bryce demo these stairs.
