A Few Past & Present Shots

The back patio area with the sunroom door.

Shag green carpet and castle inspired decor filled the space, now all you notice is the green that is framed up by the windows and doors.

When we bought the house the entryway was dark and divided. Now the space is sun filled and open.

Our new front door! I like to think of it as a Modern Classic look.

Hooray, Hooray the new windows and doors are in!

After months of waiting for the windows to get made and a few more months of us getting the framing done, our windows finally got installed. It took 7 workers 3 days to install 22 windows, 3 main doors and 3 sets of french doors. While all the framing on the inside and outside flashing are not yet complete the windows are finally in. Now we can move on to the last framing details and getting the city in to approve the work before the spray foam insulation goes up. Our house was anything but easy to install windows in with our overly deep window wells and jams. The workers that did the windows did an exceptional job!

The previous owner had lost the keys to the doors so the only access in was with our old dying garage door opener. It is such a treat to have doors that now open. We have come a long way from nailed shut doors and crumbling old lead glass windows.

*Side note the outside doors have a protective blue plastic film on them. The actual color of the windows and doors exterior is dark bronze.*
